The romance (instant as always, it's a shifter story after all) is quite good. I like that it brings the two shiftertown person together. Jace is Eric's son (he's from Vegas). While Deni is Ellison's sister (Ellison is the MC of Lone Wolf) who lives in Austin. I like Jace -- he's calm and in control but not in that detached cold way. Deni is okay, I guess. I like that she already has two sons; nice to have a widow as a heroine.

The part where Deni goes looking for Jace after his plane crashes is GOOD. Love that.

The whole Fae world thing is, well, a bit weird. I remember not enjoying second book when it's about Andrea (who is half-fae). However, this also has a good clue about how to take off the Collar off the shifters.

Next novel will be Graham's story. He's annoying and a bit antagonistic during Eric's book so it'll be interesting to read his story. Hope it's good.
