3.75 stars rounded upThis short novella takes Cady, Lon, Jupe, and Kar Yee on an afternoon boat cruise since Lon is planning to test Jupe's new demonic ability in the ocean -- away from people! *lol*. But it turns out to be a cruise from hell, when Jupe gets pissed on the captain (and he turns the captain into a brainless mush), then lighting strikes the boat, and something bad is coming into the boat.----I love this series -- I love the characters (most especially Jupe!) and this is a snippet of one afternoon in their lives. Jupe is adorable, the way he is crushing over Cady's friend, Kar Yee. Lon being exasperated with his son is funny. And wow, Cady, showing power with lightning! Since this is a short novella, there isn't any development in the arc of the series. Still, it's a nice feeling to visit the gang in between full-length novel.
