Malediction (Melissa F. Olson)
This short story falls right after the ending of Boundary Crossed. Lex decides to go to Los Angeles, to talk to Jesse Cruz, and finds out what really happens with her sister's murder.
The short story has similar structure with Scarlet Bernard's novels, in which we have two point of views. One with Lex (first person) the other with Jesse (third person). We discovered what really happened with Sam.
It was nice to get an 'update' of Jesse and Scarlet too. And maybe it will be nice to have a cross-over stories, like in TV series from same network.
