Detailed Review will be soon-ish
Rest and Be Thankful by Joanna Chambers: 4 stars
-- my favorite of the bunch, despite the length it felt complete from beginning to the (hopeful) end. Satisfying even if I wanted more :).
Out by Harper Fox: 3.25 stars
-- took awhile to get into the story, and I didn't warm up to it until about halfway. It felt more serious and darker than the other four though. But the ending was rather glorious.
Waiting for Winter by LB Gregg: 3.25 stars
-- a bit too short (and thus slightly undeveloped) for this kind of theme. Feel like missing essentials scenes.
Baby, It's Cold by Josh Lanyon: 3.5 stars
-- it has all the Lanyon's FEELZ and familiarity (which was the base of my rating), but darn, I felt that the focus was more on the food and food preparation rather than the romance. The ending was rushed too.
I decided to rounded up this one time because despite the overall 3.5 rating, I still felt all the comfort and joy (all pun intended!) that this anthology offered. Yes, it was still a solid one.
