Soooooooo... yeah, I liked the first half. It involved ROAD TRIP and I always love road trip. It was fun and I felt Anna and Kaidan enjoying themselves. Then the second part happened, and it all teenage angst emo, and Anna felt like a stalker what with her whining over WHY Kaidan didn't want to be with her, and "why couldn't I forget about him" .. BLAH BLAH BLAH. Sorry, I just hated that kind of plot so much (reason why I didn't like MF YA much, or well, YA in general probably)

... at least the appearance of the other Nephilims (Marna, Grace, Kope, Blake) made up for the whining. I though the Dukes are pretty cool (and that ending, with the girl Neph on the stage, INTENSE!). I also loved Jay so much (the non-gay best friend, he was the sunshine of this book for me). And Patty ROCKED

So I really liked most of it, but the part with Anna whining over Kai just killed my mood with the book. Plus I'm not really sold on Kaidan *shrugs*. Would I continue with book #2? At the moment, the chance is unlikely. Or maybe later. MUCH MUCH LATER!
