Wasn't planning to add another Merlin/Arthur fanfic to GR, already had a bad reputation among friends as an M/A enabler but I can't help it... What intrigued me to this one was the blurb that said, "Merlin and Arthur are full of feelings." Sound like my kind of read. And I loved it. In most of M/A fics that I'd read so far, I was used to Arthur being the oblivious one. Or Arthur was the one repressing his feelings (could be because of Uther, could be because of his position as the rich and famous, etc). This one was different. Arthur KNEW what he wanted. He might be a jock, but he was drawn to emo/goth boys, and Merlin was one of those boys. But Arthur felt that it was different with Merlin. So, it was Merlin who hold things back. Who refused to give Arthur a chance because well, Merlin didn't date jocks.Merlin was quite mean and rude here -- but it was truly fun for me to read how Arthur managed to knock down his walls, one brick at a time. The sex was quite HOT too!! And the final scene, where Arthur was the one who put eyeliner on Merlin (because really, Arthur has an eyeliner fetish!!) was sweet!!Full of feelings? Yep! But were they just the right ones? Hell, yeah!PS: Colin Morgan rocked that look as emo/scene boy!! Seriously!! (sighing over Colin's photo on this fic's cover)
