They portrayed better drama and intensity compared to the all goodie-goodies sugary sweet ones, where people meet fall in love and live happily ever after. It is explosive, in a way that sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's painful. Both men end up hurting each other with words and actions. Ryan denies his feeling for Harley (even if he likes the painter). Since he has made choices in life where he ended up being paid for sex it makes him doubting Harley's attraction almost every time. Harley, on the other hand, falling hard for Ryan, that he doesn't really know what to do with it, and sometimes think that offering money -- if necessary -- is the way to get what he wants. Even in the end, it's not truly an HEA, there is still a long way to work on their relationship. Some people probably even think it's dysfunctional -- but I think they can make it work.PS: There is one hot action happened at a kitchen table :)~ I so need more stories like this!
