Mystery wise, the second book in Nick Fallon Investigation series is better than the first book. At least, in this one, there's a dead body, and the readers are guessing who the perpetrator(s) are along with Nick. There's a slight twist regarding some of the characters that appear in the book; that they don't tell the truth upfront. But, it's still a light mystery to me compared to some m/m murder mysteries I have read.Relationship wise, I enjoy the take to the established couple, Nick and Eric as well as Jeff and his artist/psychic partner, Peter. There is one incident here with Jeff, which results in a problem in his relationship with Peter -- and I like the way it handles. While Nick and Eric seem solid; and I feel that Eric is a good balance to Nick's more outburst character. It's always fun to read story where the couples have been together for years.Surely will read the next book too.
