Heck, even Julia Roberts asked for the money (even if she didn't take it) from Richard Gere the moment that their week was over! I couldn't believe that Delaney would let Astin made all those 'promises' of thousands of dollars, and then just let him go without paying (while he also clearly didn't believe that Astin was a Prince in the first place).
To me, Astin was also kind of a brat. I didn't understand his reasons of running away, because I didn't feel like his father or stepmother were bad people.
And the werewolf thing happened a little out of place, like the author suddenly realized, "Oops, I haven't written anything about the supernatural factor of this story! Let me correct that". It was weird addition, didn't went nicely with the flow, and a little too abrupt.

Well, basically, what ☆ Todd's review said. I will add stars for the lack of sex scenes, plus the part where at the kingdom was quite nice.
