I liked Julia from the previous novel. I was happy that she could finally have the chance get out from her well-meaning but can really be smothering family. Isaac was a good guy for him, but I did wonder about Isaac's excuse for not writing all those years. Considering what he felt about her. I kept waiting but it never came up.
This being a novella, I can somehow disregard the short timeline (practically only two days). Besides Isaac and Julia have history with her being his best friend's little sister. So I could believe it a little bit more, compared to if they were strangers.
