While I was frustrated several times with the heroine's animosity and defensive attitude but in overall, I found this book to be enjoyable. I loved when Jessie worked with the horses or when she showed vulnerability to Nathan. I liked Nathan enough as well, and he made me believe in his intention to not hurt Jessie again, his father be damned.
It was my first experience with T.J. Kline and a good introduction for the whole series. I was interested with the rest of the characters so for sure I will read the next books.
