What Happens At Christmas (Jay Northcote)

Meh.
For a novella this felt too long. I didn't feel the supposed sexual tension. Considering that I thought the climax would be the Christmas party, the built up was mundane, and the aftermath dragging. I LOVED friends to lovers theme, but I thought this was plain boring. Yawn.
On that note, I really think that maybe Northcote is not an author for me. Her stories are almost always fall into either my meh or nothing special category *shrugs*
