A Soul Remembered (Vivien Dean)

I liked the idea -- and there was something pretty romantic for one to live several lifetimes to find the one true love. But the (light) sci-fi element was fuzzy, and I spent most times crunching my forehead trying to grapple the explanation. Not exactly fun doing that. Plus the villain was too obvious (even though the motive not mentioned until later).
I like Dean's writing though (she focuses on characters/romance rather than smut) so some misses from her will not stop me from reading more of her stories in the future.
