Cinnamon Dreams (Vic Winter)

Cinnamon Dreams - Vic Winter

I loved Vic Winter's shorts -- and this one simply stole my heart. Yes, it is short, but it packs a lot of cuteness without being overdone.

I could totally felt Digby, as he mused about hating his current job, being an office drone. I applauded him for taking a chance, working at the bakery because it gave him happiness, even if the pay was lower than his current job. I'm not saying I'm in the same situation -- at the moment I enjoy my job, I like coming to the office, and my colleagues are okay -- but Digby's situation was easily relatable.

I loved reading about how Digby found the joy of taking care of the register, and making cookies, and baking buns, and looking at his boss's buns too (haha!). I also loved the way that Winter described the sense of smell in the kitchen -- I could totally imagine it.

I would've loved to read more about the progress of Keith's falling Digby though because even until the end, I felt that it was a little bit one-sided. Yes, Digby and Keith have worked together for months (and we got to the steamy section almost near the end, so YAY!!), but Keith's reaction to Digby was still a little too quick and unexplained to me.
