His Fallow Heart (Ava Hayden)
This short story has a gentleness in it -- with a farmer and an artist MC -- I loved how the author described the Eagle Tree scenery as well as Phillip's paintings. I also loved that both Finn and Phillip were in their 50's and 40's respectively; although considering that they were only five years apart, Finn's fear of their "age-gap" (which practically non-existent, come on!) felt frustrating. The ending was lovely...
