Ami's Hoard

I read this because book #3 in the series seems to be MM romance (as it appeared on my timeline, thanks to Gigi) and I was intrigued enough that I wanted to try the first book.

Despite the fact that I skimmed over the sex scenes (totally not my kind of sex scene, not with the use of some words that I dislike (

) and this might be a little more smutty that my usual read ... but I thought the story outside the sex scenes were pretty cute. Both Matt and Natacha are not 'physically' or 'health' perfect. Matt has scars and Tash has a very bad asthma. But I loved how Tash pushed through her disease and became a good pilot; and how Matt really cared for her.

This novella is only 25k long -- and I have a feeling that the story actually starts in a different series, that the character appears somewhere else prior to this (after checking, apparently Matt indeed first appeared in Heart of Fame). The story happened practically only in one day (?) but I wasn't totally bothered with it because it seemed Matt and Tash had been skirting over their sexual attraction for weeks (though THOSE happened off page)
